DoorLoop Inc. ("DoorLoop", "Company" "us" or "we") is committed to protecting your privacy and following the laws requiring it to do so. DoorLoop operates the following: a website located at https://www.doorloop.com ("Website") and a cloud-based platform or application - https://app.doorloop.com ("Cloud App") and additional products and services which may vary from time to time (the Website, Cloud App and other services and products shall be referred to collectively as "Offerings"). This Privacy Policy details topics such as, how we maintain, collect, use and disclose information that can identify or lead to the identification of an individual (“Personal Data”) and users of the Offerings (collectively “Visitors”).

4. The legal basis for processing - GDPR

5. With whom do we share Personal Data?

We do not rent or sell any Personal Data, and no such activity has occurred in the prior 12 months. In the event that DoorLoop changes its practices and engages in the sale of personal information as regulated by law, we will provide advance notification to impacted individuals and offer the ability to opt in/opt out in accordance with regulatory requirements.

We may share Personal Data when authorized or otherwise requested by You, for example, when You use or implement one or more 3rd Party Provider Services (as defined in DoorLoop’s Terms of Service).

Trusted vendors, business partners, suppliers, subcontractors and service providers – these recipients process Personal Data we share with them only as "processors" or "service providers" (as these terms are defined in the applicable laws), and are only authorised to use your Personal Data only as necessary to provide certain services to us. They may provide us with different services, such as fraud detection and prevention, storage, analytics, advertising, financial products and services, payment services, loan services, security deposit alternatives, marketing and listing syndication, renter’s insurance, address verification providers and so on.

Commercial information: Transaction information, purchase history, financial details and payment information.

Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Browsing history, search history, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website, application, or advertisement.
Geolocation data: Device location.

Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, or sensory data: Images and audio, video or call recordings created in connection with our business activities.

Professional or employment-related information: Business contact details in order to provide you our services at a business level, job title as well as work history and professional qualifications if you apply for a job with us.

Education information: Student records and directory information.

Inferences drawn from other personal information: Inferences drawn from any of the collected personal information listed above to create a profile or summary about, for example, an individual’s preferences and characteristics.
6. International transfers of Personal Data

Since DoorLoop operates globally, it may be necessary to transfer data, including Personal Data, to jurisdictions other than your own, including outside of the UK or the European Union. In these instances, we ensure that these international transfers of your personal information are made pursuant to appropriate safeguards, and, we will take suitable steps to ensure that your personal data is treated just as safely and securely as it would be within the EU and under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”). Such measures shall include, but are not limited to, having Data Processing Agreements with applicable subprocessors and ensuring that such subprocessors have adequate security and data protection procedures in place and which align with the GDPR or any other applicable data protection law.
7. How long do we retain your Personal Data?

We will only retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide our Offerings and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements (unless we are instructed otherwise). Retention periods are determined by taking into account the nature/sensitivity and amount of information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use, the purpose for which it is collected, bearing in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable time. Under applicable regulations, we may keep records containing users' Personal Data, compliance related data, communications and anything else as required by applicable laws and regulations.
We may rectify, replenish or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.
